Helps to expel the mucus pretty fast, glad my doctor recommended it. Have had a lingering cough for a month now and this really helps. Don't bother
My dr. told me to use this when I had a sinus/ear infection. It did not help at all. Plus, It gave me heart palpitations. A cup of hot lemon ginger tea helped more than this OTC med.
