Been using bags of ice wrapped in towels. This is so much better. Gel ice pack is very flexible and gets cold quickly when placed in the freezer. Fits easily into the pouch. The Velcro wrap is long enough to wrap around a large size leg. It could be wider and fit more securely, like the Velcro wrap that comes with the size small ‘Hot & Cold Pad compress.
