I've had two of these (Yes, I liked it enough to replace it). It wants to give the same reading even when the actual weight has changed. For example, your body weight can change by up to a pound and it will read the same. Here's what I do to remedy that: I tough it to power it on. Then, I pick up something heavy and stand on the scale (but don't look). I get off the scale, let it zero out, and get back on. That's as accurate and reliable as it's gonna get. It's fairly easy to read but you need to have the light on. Non-functional
The scale did not work with the battery it came with. Thinking perhaps it was old, we put in a brand new battery and . . . same result. The numbers on the scale are much too small. Also not lit up..not back lit. I could not read it. Jumps 0.2 to 0.8 lbs increments between weights
The scale gives very reproducible weights. But while it shows a decimal 0.1 lb resolution, it actually has only 1/2 lb resolution at best. It jumps between 0.2 and 0.8 lbs when slightly varying the weight.
