Helps scars heal and fade for SURE

Helps minimize scars

Worthy to try for certain types of scars—it worked for mine!
I make hypertrophic scars and this product helped flatten out a new scar on my wrist that was approximately 2 inches in length. It comes neatly packaged in a roll like athletic tape and is easy to snip off how much you need with a scissors. You peel off the backing and place the product on the scar. You can reuse the application at the end of its use by washing it with soap and water and letting it dry flat. I could get a couple days worth out of the product, but it would also depend on if the edges curled up. If you don’t have the application site covered or firmly secured, it has the tendency to roll up on the edges. Sweat also made the product lose some of its stickiness. I kept mine in place by wearing my wrist brace on top so it was protected and wrapped firmly down. Using it daily and for longer periods of time helped with efficacy and longevity of the application. This product left no residue or rash despite me being sensitive to adhesives. I could see some limitations with where someone’s scar may be located or if the scar is wider than the tape; it could cause the tape to roll up easier if you have to set multiple pieces side by side or if it’s on an active part of your body. Different sizes of tape rolls available would be beneficial for this. I will be buying it to have on hand after my roll is empty (I still have a bunch left) and find it competes well with medicinal grade silicone adhesives I’ve used in the past for similar scars. Reusable is a plus
I like the width of the silicone scar tape and how you are able to cut the perfect length you need. I like that you are able to reuse the tape, making easier to use since you can rinse, let it dry, and reapply. I did not notice any skin reaction to the tape and like that it stayed on even when we went to a water park for several days. It is a little noticeable but not too bad. Softens the look of scars
I had a small scar on my leg so I tried this to soften the scar. It blends is very well with, the material is soft and moisturizing and it feels like you’re not even wearing anything. You get quite a bit in the roll so you can cover small or large scars. It’s a little pricey but it seems to work well.{{userCount} users found this review helpful.
