I’ve used a lot of variations of lidocaine patch. These just don’t stay. They move around a lot on your skin and no matter how well you push every inch of it to your sore body, it manages to turn up and catch on your clothes and wad up under your clothes. My store ran out of every box except these and so I tried them and was excited because of the discount. Good product for the price.
I injured a nerve on my lower back when pet sitting my daughter's dog, cat and chickens while she was on vacation. Unfortunately I somehow injured a nerve on my lower back that caused intense pain whenever I bend over. This was quite a challenge as my pet sitting duty required a lot of bending. Desperate for relief, I found at CVS Maximum strength Lidocaine with Menthol patch. The label said "desensitizes aggravated nerve". This caught my eye as it was exactly my issue and not a muscle pull which happens occasionally. I immediately felt relief when I applied the patch to my lower back. To be clear, it did not cure my nerve pain and I had to be super careful when I bend down. But the menthol provided a sooth cooling effect and allowed movement with relative comfort. I wore the patch every day and after 5 days my back started feeling better. I believe the combination of Lidocaine and Menthol significantly facilitated the healing.
