Inaccurate
I was hoping this would be great to have because of the interchangeable tips but the underarm readings on my newborn and myself are falsely low—readings barely go above 96 and with a newborn I need something more spot on. When checking our temps with another brand thermometer, readings were 98+ degrees so this CVS thermometer definitely runs low. For the price point of this item, I expected way higher quality. This thermometer is terrible
The thermometer simply doesn't function properly at all. Its hard to get it to start reading anything then when it does it starts super low and barely reaches the correct body temperature even with perfect placement, let alone check a fever. It's finicky and all over the place.. I even tried switching the attachment to see if it would work better, but same results. I used the oral one instead of the underarm, and it read a little quicker BUT it still was just as low and inaccurate. Immaculate garbage thermometer
This thermometer isn’t even remotely accurate. For oral readings it’s usually under 96 degrees. I should have read the other reviews but alas, here I am, having to drive back to cvs to return this piece of junk. Look elsewhere
No instructions. Only functions about half the time. Don’t buy!!! Awful!!
I bought this thinking it would be fast and accurate for my toddler. It takes so long to even register a reading. And is very inaccurate!!
