Love it!
I love a good cold pack! And this works with heat too! The material is Non irritable and very well made. Its easy to store and works like a charm. Theres no medicinal odor and I finally got to use it today because of an injury. I love CVS' Peas Hot/Cold Therapy Pack. Although, I mainly like using it for cold therapy. It really does feel like a frozen pack of peas after freezing it. I like that the side you apply to your skin has like a soft, velvety texture to provide a soft barrier from the cold/heat. Yet you can still feel the benefits of the cold/hot pack without hurting yourself. It molds to your body easily, so I've been able to use it for different aches and pains all over my body. The peas/beads inside the pack have a soft, squishy texture. Comfortable and Still Retain Heat
Peas, peas, they’re good for your … cramps! My peas arrived on a scorching summer day, already hot to the touch fresh out of the package. It just so happened that my stomach had been bothering me, so I was able to utilize these warm peas right away, and it provided instant relief! Later on I heated up my peas back up using the more traditional microwave method, wrapping it in a dish towel, and letting it rest on my tummy. Again, instant relief. Perfect for hot & cold therapy!
This CVS hot and cold pack is PERFECT! I have a son who plays tackle football and seems to hurt something new every week. When he first gets injured, he always needs the ice packs to help with inflammation and pain. Then when it moves to the achey point, he likes to switch to the heating pads and warm items. The fact that this does both is such a wonderful thing. I personally have the large one, which works great for larger body parts, but i think I'm going to get a couple more of these in different sizes. Versatile and useful
Comfortable, flexible, easy to use. Definitely helps reduce swelling and ease pain. Lightweight and doesn’t leak. It would be more useful if it could be stored in the freezer indefinitely rather than for a maximum of 4 hours, but it can be kept in the fridge which has been good.
