Works for Seborrheic Dermatitis
I have type 4 hair and struggle with seborrheic dermatitis, specifically along my hair line. I used a different company’s hair oil with salicylic acid in the past but they stopped making it with salicylic acid so I needed to find an alternative quickly that would work. I find that this product stings and runs and if I use it alone, it is very drying which for me makes the seborrheic dermatitis worse. However if I apply a hair oil to my hair line and then add drops of this right on top the oil, then it works well to stop the flaking without drying out my skin. I had a bad random flare a few days ago before trying this method and after doing that 2-3 times a day for just one day, I woke to see the flakes gone and my skin hypopigmentation already resolving. My skin responds really well to salicylic acid so just getting the right formulation and method is usually what I need. To keep it from running, I don’t fully twist the cap open.
