The threader end is WAY too thick if you have any kind of hardware or permanent retainer. Works well for me

Best alternative sense Glide threaders were elimin
I purchased GLIDE THREADERS for years and of course they stopped making them and the Oral B are now useless as they keep shredding and breaking in between the teeth. This CVS product is a little more difficult to un thread, but they are much stronger and work very well. this floss is the worst. I would rather take 10 dollars and burn it. I can't get it under my bridge its toooo thick. If you're switching from Oral B because you have permanent retainers (I can't speak to bridges), this is the best alternative. In fact, it's the only alternative I've found since Crest also discontinued their threader floss. This product is not perfect. The stiff end is slightly too thick so if you don't have enough space between your teeth, you might have some trouble getting it to pass under the retainer. The floss is much waxier than Oral B/Crest, which means it's stickier and tends to clump together (the bright side of this is that the texture actually does a more thorough job cleaning between your teeth). When you open the packet, the floss is a solid clump of wax. When I first started using it, I'd try my best to untangle it and inevitably create a knot that made it impossible to pass through my teeth. Then I noticed there were some directions on the packet which say to grab the stiff end and the floss end at the same time, and gently pull in opposite directions. Following these directions avoids the knotting problem 99% of the time. CVS: PLEASE DON'T DISCONTINUE THIS PRODUCT! Hard plastic irritated my gums.
The product wasn’t what I expected. I like the super floss by Oral B but CVS didn’t have any so I thought I would try it. I didn’t know it would be hard plastic and irritate my gums.
