I have to take a statin, Vytorin, for cholesterol, and it has produced muscle and tendon aches and pains, although my Cardiologist isn't convinced statins are the cause. Every friend who also has to take statins are convinced that it is, and have also suggested I try CoQ-10 to alleviate the pain. The CVS brand product was on a great sale (CoQ-10 is really expensive for some reason) so I gave it a shot and so far it seems to be working.
