I purchased the essie Gel Couture Long-lasting Nail Polish along with the essie top coat nail protector. Within a day or two the polish was starting to chip or wear away from the tip of the nail. Very disappointed as I was hoping these products would work better.3 years agoHi there Terry! We can see this wouldn’t be the result you were hoping for…be sure to apply the gel couture colors to clean, bare nails with no base coat. Top with the gel couture top coat for longest wear and be sure to cap the nail tips with each coat.
