Right balance of sheer and opaque
Color is perfect! Essie has saturated their pink polishes with sheers which aren't good. Surprised at the quality.
I've bought Essie nail polish several times in the past and have had no problems. Always goes on smoothly and the manicure always lasts without chipping for at least a week and a half to two weeks, not this bottle. I noticed it right away as I was first putting it on. It was thick and wasn't going on right. I let it dry in-between the two coats and afterwards. After about an hour of drying I was already getting dents in the manicure due to the thickness of the polish. I'm sure this is an isolated incident because like I said, I've purchased Essie nail polish in the past, several times and have never had this problem. Bright pink
There is nothing minimal about this shade. It's a BRIGHT, milky, pink. It does not look like these photos. This shade has changed since it launched.
When it launched, minimalistic was the palest opaque pink -- so pale, it was almost white. It was a dream, and the name made sense. Now, it's bubble gum cotton candy Barbie pink, which is fine but a totally different vibe. Don't buy this one if you're doing it because you saw a milky pink on Instagram or somewhere else on social media. Those posts aren't the same version of minimalistic that's available now.
