There is just enough product in one packet to touch up your roots with, provided you don't have really dense hair. If you're intending to refresh your whole head of hair, you're going to need way more than just one of these packets for that. I'd wager this product has about half the amount of dye in it that a standard box of semi-permanent color has. The instructions to mix it in your hand are hilariously impractical. You are going to want the non-metallic bowl. Luckily those are very easy to come by. Just be aware that if you intend on conscripting a cereal bowl for the purpose: that is now your hair dye bowl forever. The dye in this packet colors fast and strong. I've never had as much trouble scrubbing it off my temples as I did with this, you'd think it was permanent instead of demi-perm. It really does color your hair in just ten minutes, though. The results on me turned out a little darker than on the box, but I already had brown hair, so mileage may vary. My grays are thoroughly covered. The instructions claim you can use the internet infamous shampoo method of application. Again, you are probably going to want more than just one packet of this if you're going to try it that way. I got shiny results that covered my grays with the brush method. It has a nice balsam scent and didn't irritate my scalp. I would recommend this for people who are just covering their roots, or maybe if you're planning to add lowlights this could work too. Easy to use

Quick and easy way to get your bold color BACK!

I was hesitate to try this, but oh boy. This product is made with quality and the mix was NOT messy. I love it. It actually appears better than the actual big box. I will definitely use again. My hair is neck length and fine and it was enough after putting on regrowth, to actually spread out down to the tips. I love this product and will get it again, for touch ups.
