[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have not dyed my hair for over the last 8 years since I like keeping my orginal black hair. This time I tried Garnier Nutrisse Caramel Blonde hair color to give my hair a new and impressive color but the result was not as I expected. This hair color is affordable and Garnier is a very popular brand in hair care. I’ve used several of their products before, so I felt comfortable trying this product, and overall the process was pretty simple. The instruction steps were clear and easy to follow, even if you’re coloring your hair at home by yourself. I also like that my hair didn’t shed much after coloring compared with some other dyes I’ve used, so it didn’t feel overly harsh or too chemical-heavy. The downside is that the final color was not what I expected. Instead of a true caramel blonde, my hair turned more like a light brown with reddish/wine tones, especially under light. It definitely came out lighter and warmer than the shade shown on the box. Another thing is the ammonia smell was quite strong during application, so make sure you are in an open room or you should wear a mask during the process. My go to dye!

Love this brand

The color itself is a bit coopery which I do not like, I prefer a more neutral dye. Don’t Trust the Box
Found this color and was intrigued by the 3x effect… is not made for all hair types. I have the 3 C hair, that is similar to the texture on the box…. Barely lifted my hair. It’s more on the light brown/red side and it is supposedly for dark hair.
