Ive been a Hunts tomatoe sauce fan since childhood. And refused to buy anything else BUT now they done something to it. . It tastes funny. Dishes no longer have the flavor I've have come to love. No reason to buy hunts instead of generic anymore.

Hunts Tomato sauce and whole tomatoes are bad now
I’ve used Hunts whole tomatoes and tomato sauce for decades. I will no longer use Hunts as they are horrible now. Great fresh taste for a canned sauce. Thank you.
I had Hunts as a kid and I'm 79. I recently bought it again to make spaghetti sauce from scratch and both my family and I were delighted. Of course, as the COOK in my house, I add spices and stewed tomatoes to it to suit my taste and the tastes of my family. I was delighted to taste tihs beautifully blended tomato sauce and for the first time in years, had requests for MORE MOM. Those that don't like it, probably expect miracles from plain sauce without spices. YOU HAVE TO ADD YOUR OWN SPICES TO YOUR TASTE. Hunts can't do it for you. This is the Sauce to Use For Pasta.
I'm giving this sauce five stars! I made my homemade spaghetti with meat sauce using Hunts. My whole family loved my spaghetti with meat sauce. I would recommend Hunts Tomato Sauce if you're looking for a non-acidic tomato sauce and I even went back for seconds. My past sauces never came out as good as this one. New formulation taste terrible.
Your new and improved recipe for this sauce is absolutely terrible. You ruined a great product. Coke make the same mistake. This new formulation has ruined two of our favorite family recipes. It's is very acidic and taste more like tomato paste than sauce. I'm done with the product. Fix it! Now spicy
Why did you add red hot pepper to this sauce and ruin it.GREW UP ON HUNTS but now onto Delmonte and Cortadina brands. Big mistake new recipe is terrible.Reply from hunts.com5 months agoHi there.
