New formula sucks
This new formula sucks. Go back to the animal base bars of soap. The bars now remain soft and dissolve way too fast. Now i have to find another bar soap to use after using this Ivory my whole life. Don't buy this soap or you will be disappointed. Bring Back the Old Ivory
I don't know why companies have to destroy a perfectly good product. I used Ivory soap for years. As a child it was fun having a soap bar that floats. Now the soap just melts into the soap dish and half of it ends up in the sink. Very disappointed in a trusted product. The tallow and lather are gone.

P&G Hiding Product Changes!
I agree with other 1 star reviews! NOT THE ORIGINAL IVORY BAR SOAP! A POOR IMPOSTOR THAT P&G S TRYING TO PASS OFF AS THE ORIGINAL. THEY ARE DOING THE SAME THING WITH IVORY DISHWASHING SOAP (NOW IVORY ULTRA) which does not list the detailed ingredients that the original did. Trying to hide behind "Original Scent" implying original ingredients! Changed the game for bar soap!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Although I rarely, if ever, use bar soaps, I used this one because it was a free trial from Influenster and I must say, I was impressed. There were PLENTY of bars in the package, and I am currently on my 5th or 6th one so far. This bar soap is super gentle on my sensitive skin, does not make my skin feel dry afterward, and it smells wonderful - a very light, fresh scent. If you’re a bar soap person… or actually, even if you aren’t, I highly recommend giving this a try. Small size
I bought the 10 bar package as usual. I was excited to see the new boxed packaging. To my disappointment the bar was almost an ounce smaller with smooth edges, not like the formula I am used to. It was almost like holding a hotel bar sized soap. I was lterally saddened by the size. I am a life long user. My dermatologist wanted me to change brands but I refused. Not the same
This is no longer the Ivory soap I grew up with. It doesn't smell the same. Doesn't look the same. Doesn't lather the same. Really wish they would go back to the original formula.
