I gave this product a shot for a “wash n go” on my type 4b hair after watching lots of YT reviews. I was looking for curl definition, soft quality, light hold, some bounce, shine, no flakes. I applied it as instructed and paired it with the kinky curly knot today on freshly washed hair, as recommended. This product had great slip and I could see my curls were poppin before I even brushed it through! I used only a dime sized portion on sections, worked it in and blotted any excess with a microfiber towel before drying. In the end, I got the soft quality, light hold, and some bounce; however, I didn’t get the definition or shine and I got flakes pretty bad. This product does what it says it does, it's great
I have tried many different products over the years for my naturally curly hair and nothing works better than this product, this product is worth every dollar and is very light and manageable on the hair. I can't say enough good things about it except that once you try it you are hooked. My 4a/4b/4c hair cannot get enough of this stuff. i always make sure it is stocked in my cabinet. i try other products, but nothing is as tried and true as this. My curls are defined and moisturized with definition like no other. i dll back to it every time. 8 years and counting. The product never fails to amaze me. My only complaint is the cost. it rarely goes on sale. i use my store rewards at cvs to buy this and the leave-in condish in bulk on. regular basis.{{userCount} users found this review helpful.
