Terrible
This liner is a fail. No color, I try to sharpen it and it just breaks. Totally unusable. Design flaw
Just purchased this pencil on Tuesday, by today I needed to sharpen it. The pencil was destroyed by the sharper,and is now in the garbage. What a waste of money!Reply from L'Oreal4 weeks agoHello! To keep the creamy, waterproof formula from breaking or smudging, we recommend using a high-quality cosmetic sharpener and popping the pencil in the refrigerator for a few minutes before sharpening to firm up the core. An Unpleasant Experience
The good: This product has excellent pigmentation and the color itself is beautiful. It’s a perfect neutral brown that is less harsh than black, for a more natural look. It really is waterproof. The bad and the ugly: I bought this pencil to tight-line my eyes as I like to go for a more natural look. This product is too goopy. I put it in the refrigerator overnight to see if the product would become a little firmer, while still being smooth enough to glide on my eyes without tugging. It did not harden and does not keep its point long enough to even line one eye. The application is messy and the product clumps and fails to blend seamlessly, and this is after diligently prepping my eye area. Not only is the application of this a product a terrible and frustrating experience, but the formula is also irritating to the eyes and overwhelmingly difficult to remove. A waste of money
I agree with others about the sharpening problem It is a waste of money when you cannot use but a minut amount of the pencil. I will not purchase again.Reply from L'Oreal4 weeks agoHello! I bought this pencil last week. Loved how it glided on. Then I needed to sharpen it. Impossible! Like other reviews- not doable. Plus the pencil will NOT advance so it’s unusable. Total waste of money. I notice the response from L’Ordeal going back years to this repeated complaint is this concern will be passed on to the team for review. Time to fit it!Reply from L'Oreal Paris3 months agoHello there. Despite the plastic-coated appearance of the Pro Last Waterproof Pencil Eyeliner, it can be sharpened with a cosmetic sharpener. For best results, turn the pencil gently in the sharpener 3 or 4 times, being careful not to apply excess pressure. After sharpening, remove all shavings from the blade edge. Your sharpener should be replaced whenever the blade has dulled and is no longer giving the expected results. We hope this information helps!
