I've used this stuff for years, but it's only recently that it comes off on my hands and pillows and anything that touches my hair even a DAY after applying it. It used to dry and stay put. It works...kind of.
It works when you actually get product in the can. Lately they have been stingy with the amount of paint in the can, most of the time it just sprays clear liquid and no dye no matter how much you shake it or what angle you hold it at. The dye itself has an oily feel that is rather unpleasant so you have to find a balance of getting it to actually color and not making your scalp look greasy. It also comes off easily like it never really dries all the way, very often it smears on my pillow cases, even if I applied it in the morning, and I wake up looking like Robert Downey Jr in Tropic Thunder.Reply from L'Oreal4 weeks agoHi Umbra! The product did color, the after was horrible.

Don't purchase
I purchased two shades and both were completely waste of money. Color is nothing like what is displayed on package nor as it is described.Reply from L'Oreal2 months agoHi Farr. Bring back old formula!
I am distraught I have used this product for years. This past month I purchased and it seems like a completely different formula that doesn’t cover my gray at ALL. I tried 3 different bottles to see if it was a fluke or not. Please bring back the old version with better coverage this is awful and so sticky too!Reply from L'Oreal4 months agoHi Lanie! Disappointed
I've used root touch up for years, however, most recently, it's terrible. Dries out my hair, makes it feel sticky, comes off all over clothing, pillows, etc…you can NOT touch your hair even hours or days after spraying it because it will be all over your hands.
