I have used many La Roche-Posay products over the years and have always trusted the brand. However, this cleanser causes a stinging, burning sensation when I apply it. Since the sensation goes away after rinsing, I thought it might just be my skin’s condition, so I continued using it for a while. Eventually, my skin started peeling and developed small bumps. After reading the reviews here, I decided to stop using it. I’m leaving my review in the hope that it may help others who experience a similar reaction.Reply from LaRoche-Posay1 week agoHello! An excellent gentle cleanser
This is an excellent gentle cleanser. I use it in the morning. It does not strip my face and make it feel tight. I also use it as a post-procedure cleanser and my sensitivity during that period is not triggered. Not made in France any longer?

Excellent cleanser
As I have gotten older post menopause my skin is much drier including my scalp. Immediate Burning Reaction From a “Sensitive Skin”
How can this possibly be marketed as a cleanser for dry, sensitive skin? It burned on first contact, and the burning persisted for a long time even after an extended rinse under the shower. My skin is not barrier‑compromised, and none of the other three foaming cleansers I use — including Toleriane Purifying Foaming Face Wash — have ever caused this kind of reaction.
