I was excited to get The Blushed Nudes as I’m in my 40’s but love Maybelline products and knew these lovely shadows would work well for a light, quick eye or a more dramatic one based on the occasion. I opened it and there was no applicator inside. Bummed me out but ok. The first time using it I realized the pigment was very light and once it was on there was a lot of fallout. It didn’t look like I had any color on my eyes, no color adhered. The colors are beautiful but no lasting pigment and very loose and dusty in consistency almost. Since you experienced some fallout and a lighter color payoff, we suggest using an eyeshadow primer underneath to help the pigments grip and gently tapping any excess product off your brush before sweeping it onto well-prepped lids. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the lushes Nudes Eyeshadow Plette a while back and hadn't used them. I now adore them flr Summr lools. I enjoy softer ;looks flr Summer time!! These are the pretiest shades fr Summer time!! IK don't usually do soft eyeshjadpw looks but these shadesmake such golrgeous eye looks!! I'm 58 so I'm olderperhap not your target dience. I'm so glad to see I may still purcase this eeshasow palette!! So soth te price!! Attention to detail actually matters.
I made an online pickup order to my local CVS and unfortunately had to immediately return the eye shadow pallet as the case appeared to have been scraped up and one of the eye shadow colors was cracked and falling to pieces inside the case. As a woman, I don't think any of us would have wanted to take this product home to enjoy. I lost the Maybelline coupon that attached and I am now awaiting a new opportunity to update my pallet. I guess next time I will just have to go inside to ensure that the products picked for me are of the best quality. PLEASE reformulate this for the better!
I have bought this palette three times, as I love the colors, however I have noticed that the shadows have became hard, chalky, and patchy. The first time I bought it, they weren't like that. Considering that Maybelline and urban decay are owned by the same company, I can only guess that urban decay has the same quality.
