This Review is for Maybelline Lash Discovery Waterproof Mascara. I gave 3 stars bc the brush is excellent & it does "discover" those tiny wispy lashes in the inner & outer corners of the eyes. It is waterproof, a plus for me, & Maybelline is an established brand around for years. The main problem is that it tends to flake, once you've put it on & you have to use a lash comb or brush lashes to even out the look. It does come off quite easily just using baby oil, no need to spend extra on the Matbelline brand remover. Even though the brush is excellent at covering those smaller thinner lashes, it really didn't emphasize the thicker middle lashes like I had hoped it would, which resulted in not noticing more pronounced lashes. I used an eyelash curler, & was still disappointed that I couldn't really see I had mascara on my lashes!! I saw a pro tip that suggested you tightline your lashes & that will help to emphasize the eyes & mascara. That is what I will do, reason why I didn't return for a refund. I do recommend this product, but with stipulation that if you coat both sides of lashes and/or use more than one coat, it tends to flake.2 weeks agoHello! Tried and worked every time for years
The brush has always been just the right size for my small lashes.
