We are so incredibly sorry to hear that your recent tubes of Lash Sensational Washable Mascara did not live up to the high standards you have loved for years, and we completely understand how disappointing it is to experience smudging. While we have not changed our beloved classic formula, smudging can occasionally happen when the moisturizing oils from nearby eye creams, concealers, or even natural skin oils transfer onto the lashes and slowly break down the washable pigments. To help lock the mascara in place and prevent that frustrating raccoon-eye effect, we highly recommend dusting a very light sweep of translucent setting powder under your eyes and on your eyelids before applying your makeup, which creates a dry, oil-absorbing barrier. Allowing your skincare and concealers to absorb completely before applying your mascara can also make a wonderful difference in keeping the formula pristine.
