The Maybelline SuperStay Ink Crayon has honestly impressed me. The pigment is rich with one easy application, it glides on smoothly without feeling dry, and once it sets, it stays put. Coffee? Check. Water? Check. Lunch? Still there. I noticed very minimal fading even after eating and drinking, and the color stayed vibrant throughout the day. For a drugstore lipstick, the wear time is seriously impressive. I enjoy the product. It doesn't last 8 hours but it IS very long lasting. HOWEVER, the names give NO clue as to color. I am red/green color deficient and struggle to properly identify makeup shades. I usually rely on product names (berry vs peach) to find colors that would look good on me in cool tones. Otherwise I look to the manufacturer website descriptions of the shade for help. There is NOTHING to help in that regard on maybellines site. Not built to last
They discontinued my fav matte ink color (globetrotter) so I tried a similar shade in the lip crayon (Rise to the top). I applied, ate breakfast 30 mins later, checked the results and unfortunately the only thing that lasted was the lip outline. Definitely save your money and don’t buy this. It doesn’t last 8 hours. The best ever
I put this product to the test… I murdered a triple Texas whopper from Burger King and the lipstick wast still there! I had mustard and ketchup all over and wiped my face and it stayed…. Best lip product that I’ve used yet!!
I absolutely love this lio product from Maybelline. You can use them as liner, and lipstick. You can line and fill your lips in with it. as well, and it can also be sharpened. They stay on a long time, but the best thing is, they don’t make my lips peel!! I have really sensitive lips, they react to most lipsticks with peeling and dryness. It seems that products containing mica make it much worse, so I took a chance and tried the color On the Grind, which is matte, no sparkles or frost at all. It is a great “my lips but better” nude, neutral lip color, that goes with most any other lipstick colors. Used by itself, it is very comfortable and a little bit moisturizing. Five-Star Creamy Goodness
I don’t think I’ve ever written a review for makeup but I love this crayon SO MUCH that I decided to share. I had tried so many wear-proof glosses, stains and lipsticks expensive and cheap that I was about to give up — they were either too drying, to sloppy even with a lip brush, or just didn’t “stay.” Then I grabbed the Super Stay Crayon. I hadn’t even noticed it was in the stay put category, I was just in a hurry and grabbed it because I had liked the color. So imagine my surprise when this super creamy, no drying, easy to use accurately crayon STAYED PUT!! Through a whole work day! And equally important to well-seasoned women — it doesn’t bleed into lip creases.
