[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this Mederma overnight scar cream for about a week, and it has been very effective. I am using it to treat a scar that i got as a result of poison ivy. It is slowly renewing my skin and moisturizing as it goes. The cream itself does not appear to be scented and it is not greasy at all, which is one of my concerns with these creams. A small dab goes a long way and spreads easily on your skin. Noticeable improvement

I love that it’s not greasy or heavy, and it’s the perfect addition to my night time routine. I have an old injury scar and the texture already looks better after using this a week. Would repurchase

Cream for Callus-like Incision Site Scars
I am totally impressed with this cream. Together with flexible silicon sheets, it is the only thing I've found that moves the needle. I had my third surgery to remove Dupuytren's contractures in my right hand -- my fourth overall contracture release. This is the second surgery where the incision went from the palm of my right hand to almost the entire length of my little finger. After the stitches were removed, the incision opened up in several places and had to heal from the inside out, which is not what I wanted. Once the incision was fully closed, the scars were so thick I could not pull my little finger into a fist position. If I placed it in the splint the orthopedic surgeon gave me, the pain was so bad I had to incrementally cinch the finger down. The Overnight Scar Cream worked better than anything I tried, which included various approaches like high urea-content cream. I apply the cream, then cover the area with flexible strips of silicone after the cream soaks in. I sleep with it on and protect it with the splint, which extends the finger. I reapply it during the day. Scar remover that works.
As a nurse i was skeptical about it. My surgeon recommended it. Have used in for almost 4 weeks and my surgical scar on my neck is barely noticeable. Had high hopes
I had neck surgery, leaving me with a 4 inch incision. My surgeon recommended Mederma PM. Unfortunately, the smell was horrible, smelled like Bad, Cheap Sunscreen. Because it was near my face, I was was forced to stop using, due to the smell. That smell made it impossible to use.
