I bought this today. I like that it doesn't leave my hair feeling sticky. My hair is soft and has a nice shine But it doesn't smooth my edges or elongate my coils like I hoped (I'm 8 months in my loc journey). Honey Let Me Tell You
I have been using this gel for over 2 years. I actually layer it, for my wash-n-go, with the Pomegranate & Honey Leave In Conditioner and the Pomegranate & Honey Coil Sculpting Custard. My style last for 7-10 days with rarely a need to refresh. Dont buy!!
Waste of money. Didn't do anything for my hair and instead made it even more frizzy. The only thing this "gel has going is the fruity scent. I tried to like this product by applying it differently each time, but it gave me the same outcome no matter what. Perfect for my wash-and-go!
This gel is a LIFESAVER! I've never tried using gels for my wash-and-go - but after using this one, I'm never NOT using gel again! I only use Mielle's Pom & Honey products for my hair (anything else leaves it a tangled mess), and this gel is the perfect finishing touch for my hair care and styling routine. After washing and conditioning, I apply the leave-in with my detangling brush then, with my fingers, I use the gel to define my curls. Not only does it define them, but it also helps to keep my hair tangle-free! Which is SO helpful because each of my hair strands has multiple textures (3c/4b - it's a mess). This product is lightweight, doesn't flake, and easily washes out with one shampooing. And because it keeps my curls defined and tangle-free, wash day is so much easier than it's ever been before. Thank you so much, Mielle! My new go to for two strand twists and twist out style!
Amazing! I purchased this gel about two years ago when I first stated my natural hair journey. I was trying to figure out what to do with my hair, what works, etc. so I never used it - thought it was only for ponytails and used the pomegranate mousse for my twists/twist out style. Fast forward to 2025 and I decided to give the gel a try for my two-strand twists/twist out, and I was pleasantly surprised by the hold and shine (twists and twist outs).
