    Bio-Engineered Ingredients

Been eating these for years Protein bars dark chocolate...and today I noticed bio-engineered ingredients warning on label. I will never eat another one. Shame on you Nature Valley for putting junk in our food.

Coconuts can trigger an allergy reaction.

I like and enjoy most Nature Valley products. But the peanut almond bars has a problem I'd like to share. I have had a walnut and tree nut allergy long before most people heard of peanut allergies. One little issue over the years that rarely bothers me is coconut. The only time it's a problem is in the rare state, roasting doesn't do it. Maybe it should be made a little more highlighted on your label.

    High protein, low sugar.

I love them. I pair them up at breakfast with a slim fast shake and I'm still under 10 g of sugar. They're super delicious, without being over sugary. I have been eating the traditional oats and honey bars for longer than I can remember, and I'm 58 years old. While I still love those, this sweet and salty offers great texture and a different flavor profile that I really enjoy.

Nature Valley protein bars have an awful taste. I will never buy these bars again.

    COCONUTS!

I am not allergic to coconut, AND I actually like it. But also, when I have coconut, it’s the only flavor that I taste. It’s such a powerful flavor. So I was quite surprised to open a peanut/almond/dark chocolate bar and taste COPIOUS amounts of coconut. It seems too strong a flavor to simply have listed in the ingredients and NOT actually labeled on the box. And while coconut allergies are not as rampant as peanut or almond, I do know enough people who are allergic. I highly recommend calling it something like toasted coconut and then LIST peanut, almond and dark chocolate as secondary flavors. Coconut is definitely the top note when I taste this. 😝 That said, my husband LOVED them. But also pre-warned him about the coconut.

    Love your protein bars

I love your protein bars. Great in between meals, with my morning coffee as a healthy sweet. They are tasty and satisfying. Instead of candy, I grab the Nature Valley 10 Protein chocolate & peanut bar.

    False sense of protein gains.

10 g of protein with 12 g of fat? this should be labelled a fat bar. (p.s : it tastes good). But, please do not fool people by labelling it a protein bar.

    Confusing

Why is this not kosher certified like your other items? Is this okay for vegetarians? The source of whey protein is suspicious.
