Got this for my husband, who had a fall on the ice that injured his shoulder and rotator cuff. He is in horrible pain and found out after X-rays that the shoulder has arthritis that will not get better and will need steroid shots to alleviate the pain. Because he did not start the shots yet, I purchased this sling for him. He loves it, and it gave him immediate relief. As long as he wears the sling, he does not feel any pain. This product has good support, but the velceo strap is cheap and only 2 weeks and will not stay attached.
