I wanted to like/love it.
The mascara was good, it just didn't work for me. Brush was bigger than I like and the mascara seemed clumpy at times. As a self proclaimed mascara connoisseur I confidently bestow five stars upon this mascara. Lashes for miles, and if you remove excess mascara from the brush (just gently run the brush through the tip of the wand once or twice) it will separate your lashes into a million individual things of beauty. Noticeable length after first swipe
This is great mascara and my lashes are significantly longer with first application, longer and stronger (bolder) with 2nd coat. The only thing I don't like is that it starts to crumb at the end of the day (did I just make up a new industry term?) but I don't reapply during the day or end of day. If I was going out at night, I'd probably reapply. But I think my lashes love it - comes off easily with make up wipes. I have been on a long and desperate search for a dupe replacement for my once beloved Marc Jacobs Velvet Noir mascara; NONE of the luxe brands lived up to it (while also being equally or more expensive).
