I've only ever bought this brand but recently they made a switch it packaging. It use to have a little plastic flap on the tampon to open it. Now it is twist to open and I can't open them. Nightmare experience
I actually bought these on accident not realizing they were applicator free. I have v*ginismus which is chronic vaginal pain, so inserting a dry cotton tampon without a plastic applicator was an excruciating experience. As soon as I felt pain I started to tense up, making it harder, but I was desperate so I pushed it in as far as I could. When I stood I realized I could feel it in, so I didn't push it all the way, so I tried again - but at this point it was impossible because I was so tense. So I had to pull it out and I had a full on panic attack because it hurt so badly. Not to mention my hand was covered in blood after the whole ordeal. Pro Comfort replaced by Fluid Lock
I can no longer find the Pro Comfort version of these anywhere, so I was happy to see that my local CVS had them in stock. Unfortunately, they actually don’t stock that version, and the item that was on the shelf is the Fluid Lock version. Small Enough to travel with
I like these because they have less packaging and there are forty tampons in a small box that can fit in a small purse. Also I like that there is no cardboard or plastic applicator it’s just a thin plastic covering that you can tear off and throw away. Less garbage than other tampons.0 users found this review helpful.
