No to synthetic hormones!
Wow, that fact that this doesn't need a prescription is concerning. I tried the mini pill and like others here had HORRIBLE side effects. Severe nausea, cramping, bloating, and diarrhea. I thought my body would get used to it and adjust, but it never did. I later found out this is common with synthetic hormones like Progestin, and the harm they do to our bodies over time. does work

Avoid this pill at all costs
I started taking Opill back in September 2025 . Took it for 3 months with no issues . While I have taken several different oral contraceptives in my life this one was the worse as far as my cycle and hormones regulating after stopping this pill . In the past my hormones returned back to normal within a couple months of stopping . My body is JUST now regulating back to normal and it’s been 10 MONTHS since stopping Opill . Life saver
This is the first birth control I’ve ever tried that does not make my depression a million times worse. Yes it caused 2 periods a month the first 2 months. My body became normal right after that. But other than that, no weight gain, no acne, no mood swings.
