My husband and I have been buying the glide gum floss picks for many many years. We’ve noticed in the last month or so the packaging has changed. With that we have noticed that the picks have as well. The actual floss seems different, breaks much more easily, feels different in my gums. We have tried different packages from different retailers. They all have this issue. We are both very dissatisfied about this. we have even tried to find the old packaging thinking they would co rain the original picks. Terrible Floss Picks
Recently I purchased Oral-B Glide Floss Picks with tension control. These are the worst floss picks. The floss is too loose to floss with, it just shreds, tears and breaks. I had to use 3 floss picks for my whole mouth. When you try to use the “squeeze” control to tighten the floss, because of the way you have to hold the floss pick to tighten it, you can’t get it in your mouth the right way and you can’t hold the tension for very long. These floss picks are basically useless to me. I was going to throw them out. But then I got an idea. I took some vise grips and squeezed the tension control together and used a soldering iron to fuse the plastic. I now have a floss pick with tight floss I can use. And one other thing, the floss is too wide, hard to get it between your teeth. I will NOT be buying these floss pick again.Reply from OralB4 weeks agoHi Mike. Terrible product
Worst floss picks I have ever tried to use. They break or shred every time almost immediately. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY! Remind me not to buy these again. Floss breaks!

AWFUL
THESE ARE NOT SHRED RESISTANT. IF YOUR TEETH ARE CLOSE TOGETHER IT SHREDS SO BAD. I MISS THE ORIGINAL TAPE STYLE THIS WAS THE BEST ONE ON THE MARKET AND THEY RUINED IT FLOSSING IS A NIGHTMARE FOR ME NOW. Hate the changes made to the floss material
I've been buying these for years and loved how they glided between my teeth but the recent changes to the floss in them make them almost unusable. They start to shred almost instantly. I can't even do all my teeth without the floss breaking. I shouldn't have to use 2 or 3 floss picks just to floss all of my teeth.
