We can certainly imagine how surprised you were not notice mold on your husband's toothbrush, and want to help. Please know that there’s nothing in our toothbrush components that would cause mold before use. Mold requires organic material to grow, which isn’t present in our brushes. While it’s rare, mold can develop after use if the brush is stored in a damp area or comes into contact with certain cleaning agents or soaps that can make the plastic porous. To help prevent this from happening in the future, we recommend rinsing the brush head under running water with the handle on. Then switch it off, remove the head, clean both parts separately, and dry them before reattaching. So we can offer further assistance, please call us at (800) 566-7252.

Christian, thank you so much for your feedback. We're incredibly sorry for the confusion and frustration. To answer your questions, this brush has a 24 hours charge time but a 4 week battery life when brushing for 4 minutes a day. The charging light near the on/off switch blinks green while charging. Once fully charged the indicator light turns off. If the battery is running low, the light blinks red after switching the brush off. The three modes for this brush are: Super Sensitive, Gentle, and Daily Clean. You can tell what mode you're on based on the rpm. It might help to know that you only need a small dollop of toothpaste on the brush head when brushing. Then, don’t turn the brush on until it’s inside your mouth. Once it’s working, let the brush do the work, moving it from tooth to tooth, without scrubbing.
