It a good product.
It's a good product at a good price. I am glad I found it on sale.{{userCount} users found this review helpful. - LorenReviewed 7 years agoI have no idea what the other reviewers are expecting in terms of audio quality, but these are absolutely the worst headphones I've had the misfortune of buying. I wasn't expecting studio quality anything for a $15 price point, but these are shockingly terrible. Their range is so limited that the vocals alone are the only discernible portion of music. Even then, the audio that comes through is tinny. Please, do yourself a favor and steer as far from these headphones as possible.{{userCount} users found this review helpful.

Comfort is Key!
Hello, I've owned these headphones for roughly 3 years...they still work lie the day I bought them. They look old, and they are old...and I have purchased many other headphones since I've bought these, but i keep going back to them. I only wear headphones in the gym or running, and these provide the best comfort for my ears, and no matter how hard I'm working out they never fall off. I would be the first one in line if they offered these in a Bluetooth format.{{userCount} users found this review helpful.Originally posted on philips.com - Yes, I recommendJoeSoccer607Reviewed 11 years ago
12 years and still going strong - best headphones I've ever owned
I bought these Philips SHS-3201 wrap-around style headphones from CVS when I was in 10th grade. That was in 2003... 12 years ago! I have been using the same exact head phones since. Yes, that is correct; I haven't bought replacements of the same model. I have been using the SAME SET I purchased in 2003. I'm extremely active. I used these headphones in high school during warm-ups and physical training for both soccer and wrestling. I always use these headphones when I run, bike, work out etc... because they wrap around the ear and stay in place when running, biking, playing soccer etc... I have BEAT THE LIVING HECK out of these things, and nothing has failed. I've been sweating all over these things for over a decade. When I do yard work I wear them; they have been aggressively snatched right out of my ears when they get tangled in sports gear, clothing, yard tools, etc... and nothing has broken. The only event was when the adhesive that held the rubber sheath over the 3.5mm headphone jack started to fail and would slide down the cord when I unplugged them. I fixed this easily with a little super glue. Long story short, I have honestly and literally put these headphones through 12 years of what would be considered a nightmare for any electronic product. These headphones are a true testament to the design and production capabilities and QA of the Philips team. I won't sit here and lit and tell you that I am a diehard Philips fan and only buy their products, because that is not true. When purchasing larger, more expensive electronics I always shop similar products from the big-name manufacturers and my purchasing decision is based, usually, only on price-point. However, I will tell you that when it comes to headphones and audio equipment, Philips has certainly won me over as a life-long customer. IF ANYONE FROM PHILIPS READS THIS--- Please contact me! I will return these, although I love them, so you can take them apart and analyze everything to ensure that future products do not deviate from this tried and true design that has provided me with a durably, quality product that has delivered clear, crisp and consistent sound for 12 years and counting!{{userCount} users found this review helpful.Originally posted on philips.com - Yes, I recommendbrutalReviewed 14 years ago
toughest
These are the toughest headphones I've tried. I listen to books on tape. Sometimes when I'm working in outside, the headphones get yanked off my head from branches or tools. They still work. I fall asleep sometimes listening to audiobooks. The headhone cord looks like macrame, but still work fine. Ive busted dozens of other brands in different price ranges. These hve lasted about six months.{{userCount} users found this review helpful.Originally posted on philips.com - Yes, I recommendMarkkkReviewed 14 years ago

earphones last 1-2 months
prodoct last no time at all, then no sound. Do not have receipt or packaging, so I'm out cost. They sounded fine when they worked! Customer service what are you going to do?{{userCount} users found this review helpful.Originally posted on philips.com - BreakerBreakerReviewed 14 years ago
Did not live up to expectations
I always expected excellent performance from Philips products. This product underperformed due to the design of the components that are wrapped around the ear piece. Both the cover for the sound mechanism & the collar that holds it in place fell off. I hope future designs will improve on this.{{userCount} users found this review helpful.Originally posted on philips.com
