Less than two months old and the meter varies ketone results on same patient at exact same time from 2.0 to 0.2. Calling customer care means waiting on hold for an hour for someone who doesn’t speak or understand English to say they have no idea if the problem is the meter or the extremely expensive strips. Their answer: test a strip with control solution (which is done and that was fine, wasting another pricey strip)—end result, no way of knowing if the meter was bad (just buy another one…$40 wasted!) or the strips (just buy another box, $50 wasted)!
