Recipe did not change—just don’t order online!
I’ve eaten these daily for almsot 20 years(!!) I did notice when I ordered online (Amazon/Target) they did seem to taste worse and were smalelr. So I now buy them in-person only (walmart/target) and they’re as good as ever. I don’t know if the recipe changed or something is different about warehouse stocking, but if you miss what they used to taste like, just buy them in person. I still love these. They are my daily dessert that don’t spike my sugars with diabetes. Waaaayyyy more delicious--and more filling—than other bars. I am a huge fan…just not of the mail-order ones.{{userCount} users found this review helpful.Originally posted on pureprotein.com
DisappointedinILReviewed 6 months agoSmaller size = less protein
I buy these every week and have for years. I love them but they have gotten smaller. So probably not getting the 21 g of protein that it says on the wrapper. Just disappointed.Reply from pureprotein.com6 months agoHi [REVIEWER], thank you for taking the time to share your review. Go-to simple protein bar!
The chocolate deluxe pure protein bar is my Go-to. While their other flavors taste great, this flavor's simple chocolate-forward flavor is the easiest to stomach. Plus, it's 20 grams of protein for only 180 calories! You cannot ask for more from a protein bar. It hits all the requirements: Taste, Affordability, Protein Content, and (for me) easy on the stomach. Highly reccomend!{{userCount} users found this review helpful.Originally posted on pureprotein.com - Disappointed CustomerReviewed 6 months ago

Excellent chocolate flavor, it won't disappoint!
Excellent chocolate flavor, no protein taste or smell whatsoever because the deep chocolate flavoring and aroma overpowers and masks the gross protein taste and offending weird chemical-like odor you get upon opening such as Legendary brand.{{userCount} users found this review helpful.Originally posted on pureprotein.com - ashmip28Reviewed 11 months ago
