    I want my oatmeal back!

I agree with latest reviews. Something has definitely changed in the production process. Oats either don't cook or are grainy and bland. Too many negative reviews warrant a thorough look into the entire production.

What Have You Done to the Quick 1-minute Oatmeal?

Quick one minute oats are different than they used to be. After cooking for a very long time in the microwave - like 5 or 6 minutes a little at a time, they are still hard and don't chew up. It is like a bunch of oat bran got thrown in there or something. The individual pieces are smaller and denser almost like nuggets in it. We had a smaller container and noticed we didn't like them, and after several tries, bought the larger cannister that we typically buy, thinking that might have been the cause, but unfortunately, the oats in it are awful, too. Dumped out many bowls after wasting so much time trying to cook them. Giving up eating oatmeal in the morning. Will try the old fashioned oats and see if they are any better, but I'm not optimistic. Very disappointed!

Quaker Quick 1-Minute Oats _ 2-80 OZ (5LB) Bags _Sam's Club. The rear package states, “When it comes to nutrition, It’s Hard To Beat a Bowl of Quaker Oats”. Quaker should change the last part of that saying to “It’s Hard To Eat a Bowl of Quaker Oats”. My recent batch of Quick Oats has a tough and chewy texture. I tried longer microwave cooking time, extended stovetop cooking time and letting them soak overnight before cooking. The result was the same tough texture. I have eaten and enjoyed a bowl of Quaker Quick Oats every day for the past 5 years. No more. Very disappointed.

    Coarser flakes

What have you done to Quick Quaker Oats? Change it back. The flakes are different, smaller and coarser.

Whats happened to the 1 minute quick oats??

There has been some kind of change with the 1 minute quick oats over the last few months. My husband and I have been eating them for years and always make them as directed. But now they don't look the same in the package and after cooked, they are soupy and very chewy. Horrible and can't be eaten. We thought at first we got a hold of maybe the Gluten Free by mistake. But cking the container, it says 1 minute oats. Then we found they don't look the same dry in the package as they used to. Smaller pieces and hard pieces and no flat pieces as they used to be. Not sure whats happened, but we are on our 4 package, bought from different stores and they are awful.

    Something changed! Just Gross

As others have mentioned the 1 minute oats are not the same. Something changed about 2 months ago. The oats do not cook properly, they won't absorb water and no matter how long you cook they are hard little chewy pellets. They are yucky! so disappointing. These should be recalled for grossness!

    Horrible

I have been eating Quaker Oats Quick for many many years. When I bought a container I thought they packaged steel oats or other oats. It is coarse, hard pieces nothing like it use to be. I bought a new container at a different store it is the same horrible. Why did they change it. I won't be buying this ever again.

    Watery & Grainy Texture

Not the same as it used to be!! Watery and grainy now. I’ve tried everything to fix it from changing amount of water to time in the microwave and nothing helps! Very upsetting
