Now and then over this summer we have encountered bees and wasps making their nest on a corner by the roof. Because I have children, I am always worried that they will get stung by them. Raid Wasp and Hornet killer came in handy. Like other killer sprays, the smell is a bit strong but bearable if outside. Give a couple of minutes and the bees or wasps will be gone! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I trust Raid in general and have had good results with their other products, so I was happy to get this sample. Unfortunately, I didn’t find it helpful for my wasp problem. The issue I was having were mud daubers all over my front porch (I know they a “good” wasps, but I’d rather they nest somewhere else!). As I was spraying this, one of the wasps came flying up, and I actually sprayed it directly on the wasp: no effect! So I’m not sure if I got a bad bottle, or if it only works on paper wasps, or what, but I didn’t have a great experience with this. On the plus side, I think it did keep some of the mud nests I soaked with it from hatching, but it didn’t deter the adult wasps at all.Reply from Brooklyn4 days agoOh no! Keeps my backyard safe and comfortable!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m in Northern California. Generally, we don’t get a lot of bugs and wasps, but a few yellow jackets can be incredibly persistent. One shows up when we go outside to enjoy the nice weather and have a little outdoor dining experience. Next thing you know there’s a swarm, and we have to go inside. It’s annoying and I didn’t know what to do. I used some traps, but they didn’t seem to work. The spray seems to be the only solution. If one or two shows up, I can directly spray on the yellow jackets. They fall to the ground, and I’m clear. It works quick and it works well. The smell isn’t too strong. I can still enjoy my backyard. I think one bottle can last a very long time. Aiming is pretty eaay, and once you spray the wasps fall to the ground. Just works!

It hits nests fast from a safe distance and works around outdoor electrical fixtures.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I keep a can of this Raid spray in the garage mainly because of that 22-foot stream. It lets me knock out wasp nests under high eaves and gutters without having to drag out a ladder or get dangerously close. The instant knockdown is solid, and because it is non-conductive, I don't have to worry about popping off a stream near outdoor light fixtures or outlet boxes. The main trade-off is the petroleum base, which leaves an oily residue on vinyl siding or windows that you'll have to wipe down later, and you definitely want to keep the overspray off any nearby plants or garden leaves. Effective product with good coverage and easy application
