I just bought the Roku Streaming remote. It changes channels, fast forwards shows but volume doesn’t work and power button doesn’t work. Still have to use the old tv remote for those functions.Reply from Elmer1 month agoHi there! Did you know you can set up your Roku remote to control your TV’s power and volume? Great Interface, terrible Bluetooth!
Bought this Roku Streaming Stick to replace an Apple TV box. We watch TV on our porch and rotate the TV 180 degrees to watch either at a table or sofa. The Apple box worked great and the Bluetooth worked flawlessly, but the Roku setup reduce cable clutter and made it easier to rotate the TV. Unfortunately, even though the Bluetooth amplifier is only 5 feet away from the Roku stick, the audio kept cutting in and out. Tried a different Bluetooth adapter, with same terrible results. And after talking with my daughter she is one that had me look into the roku stick... Which I am very happy camper with the stick.. just plug it into back of ur TV and into the wall and AMAZINGLY IT DOES EVERYTHING ITSSELF AFTER THAT...AND IT COMES WITH A REMOTE BATT. INCLUDED ...SO THERES NO EXCUSES OF NOT ABLE TO WATCH UR TV AGAIN... I WAS SUCH A HAPPY CAMPER THAT I BOUGHT 2 OF THEM... I purchased my first Roku streaming media device several years and even though through the years I have purchased new and updated decices I still have and still use my very first device! If you’re having trouble trying to decide which streaming device is best don’t look any further Roku is!
