Covers grays great.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved how this color came out. It covered my grays and enhanced my hair color tremendously without damage. My hair feels soft and healthy. Can't wait to try different colors in the future 😍{{userCount} users found this review helpful.Originally posted on schwarzkopf.com - KhadarbashaSReviewed 2 days ago
Easy to apply
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have naturally virgin black hair and tried Keratin Color Intense Cocoa, but unfortunately I didn't see much difference. The color barely showed up indoors and only a very subtle brown tone was visible in sunlight. I was expecting a richer cocoa brown, but on my dark hair it didn't give the noticeable change shown on the box. The application was easy and my hair still felt soft, but I think this shade works better on lighter or previously colored hair rather than natural black hair.{{userCount} users found this review helpful.Originally posted on schwarzkopf.com - LoreneKReviewed 1 week ago
Permanent hair color that’s soft and amazing
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this complementary from Schwarzkopf and influencer. Although incentivized my opinions are entirely my own. I received two boxes of the keratin color bond and forcing system in the color 4.6 intense Coco. These are for all hair types. It’s for long lasting color and it’s five times stronger for the hair it’s up to 80% less breakage and 100% gray coverage. It is a permanent color and one box is for one application. It comes with a three step system. It comes with a pre-color serum then the actual coloring process and then a conditioner with a K bond Plex technology.. It last up to 28 washes it’s 100% gray coverage easy application. My boyfriend and I use this color system and we used it on his hair and on his beard. It works great. There’s not a huge smell that comes along with over the box hair dye. The color looks fantastic. Everything comes out evenly. The consistency of the dye is not too watery and not too thick. It’s a perfect formula. And we love the color. This is our first time trying this particular color and it looked fantastic on his beard as shown in the picture. We would definitely recommend and we love this product. {{userCount} users found this review helpful.Originally posted on schwarzkopf.com - JeniferHReviewed 1 week ago
Excellent Shine & Condition, Almost no Fade After 5 Weeks
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been coloring my own hair for years and worked my way through a lot of brands — plenty of trial and error, and a couple of results I'd rather not discuss. Expectations first: this will not lighten hair that's already dyed dark. Mine didn't come out looking exactly like the box. My gray roots landed closest to it, my previously colored length stayed dark brown — like permanent color does over old dye. I had two shades to choose from and picked 4.6 Intense Cocoa, since it sits in the color range I already use. Here's what did impress me though: this shade blended well with the color I already had. My new growth is mostly all gray, and that gray took the color beautifully, then melted right into my darker brown length — no obvious two-tone line. You'd only catch it if you'd gone months with a lot of gray grown in. If your hair has never been colored, my gray roots are your data point. That's virgin hair, and it came out closest to the box shade. Starting from uncolored hair, you'll likely land truer to that picture than I did. It also didn't darken my ends. If you've box-dyed for years you know how color stacks up on the length until your ends go dark and flat. Not here. No line at the root, no buildup on the ends — getting both right in the same box is rare. Gray coverage was 100 percent, including the stubborn ones at my temples and the stray baby hairs. And yes, "gray baby hairs" is an oxymoron — but here we are. The best part is the condition it left my hair in. Real shine, genuinely conditioned, not dried out and squeaky theway color usually leaves me. More manageable than it's been in a long time, and it looks fuller. My hair took a hit these past couple of years — menopause, then coming off a GLP-1. Thinner, drier, less of it. This brought it back close to what it used to be. If you're in the same boat, that matters more than the shade name. I followed the package directions. My hair is past my shoulders and one box was enough. No scalp burning or itching. Four weeks later it's still true cocoa, barely faded, no brassiness. (See 2nd Pic = after 5 weeks from first 4.6 Intense Cocoa coloring) Honest complaint — the gloves. The cheap one-size-fits-all kind you peel off the directions sheet. Clown hands. Mine split in the web between thumb and forefinger partway through and I got an intense stain there and across the heel of my palm, plus my forehead and hairline. In fairness, I've been told I have man hands. But that's the point — "one size fits all" doesn't. This dye is very difficult to get off skin, and scrubbing did not fix it. Have on hand gloves that actually fit, put a barrier on your hairline, and wear ear caps. I do. The flip side surprised me: it rinsed out beautifully. No standing under the water forever, no repeated rinsing, no color running at the next shampoo. Full disclosure — I use a handheld shower head on high power, so that helped. But I've used that same shower head on dyes that kept me rinsing and rinsing. This one didn't. It grips skin but rinses clean out of hair. If this review is long, that's on purpose. Before I spend my time or money on something I want to read a review that's actually legitimate — not vague, not fluff, not somebody who never opened the box. So I write the kind I'd want to find. Good price point for the quality and the results. I bought another box with my own money. Now — that's the whole review. Thanks for reading to the end. Hope it helps.{{userCount} users found this review helpful.Originally posted on schwarzkopf.com - SuzanneLReviewed 1 week ago
Perfect Color & Coverage
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Schwartzkopf Keratin Color in Intense Cocoa 4.6 Shade is a deep dark brown. A multi dimensional color that gives a soft , vibrant, intense cocoa color that is soft and rich adding a warm color without drowning out your skin tone. The steps are very simple, everything you need is included from the gloves to the pre color treatment to be used on your hair ends prior to coloring, the color cream and developer and to complete the application the Bond plex conditioner that leaves your hair feeling soft and healthy along with smelling amazing. The Keratin Color is a permanent long lasting color system that offers 100% grey coverage along with the bond enforcing system that allows up to 5x stronger hair with 80% less breakage. This was my first time using Schwartzkopf hair color in my 20 plus years of dying my hair and I will say I am very happy with the results, from the color, the condition, softness and more and will definitely purchase it for my next hair dye.{{userCount} users found this review helpful.Originally posted on schwarzkopf.com - LettiSReviewed 1 week ago

For beginners and great results
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The 4.6 intense cocoa was easy to apply. It came with pre-color serum to apply prior to coloring your hair. The scent was like any other hair coloring product. The conditioner was amazing and the scent was incredible. The product rinsed out well with no residue. My hair is shiny and the color is vibrant. I could have left the color in a little longer due to my hair type.{{userCount} users found this review helpful.Originally posted on schwarzkopf.com - HelenDReviewed 1 week ago
Total win for grey hair coverage
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Keratin Color in 4.6 intense Cocoa free for my review and this one held its own The consistency was creamy and easy to work with, so application was clean and easy to work with, went on, smooth and no dripping the scent was more pleasant than I expected. You still know you’re coloring your hair, but just less harsh. Now for the results… the color covered my grays no peekaboo’s days later. My hair felt soft, healthy, and surprisingly nourished. The only reason I gave this a four star instead of a five is because the color came out a lot darker than I thought it would. Still amazing color Rich cocoa looks amazing. Just adjust a little bit. And one of the biggest surprises is that it hasn’t faded even after a few weeks of constant air washing, which is a total win {{userCount} users found this review helpful.Originally posted on schwarzkopf.com
