cheap glue?
this used to be a great product. My last couple of purchases has been very disappointing. The sponge separates from its base after only a few uses, making it useless. The sponge looks new but serves no purpose after coming apart. Did you cheapen the glue? Great tool for Cleaning Cookware

Sponge detaches from base - twice
I have now had 2 sponges disconnect from the base that attaches to the handle. These were from different lots but both have a lighter gray base than my other wand with a darker sponge base. Now a Life long Customer
I usually don't purchase Scotch-Brite pads or wands, but when our H-E-B was having a clearance, I decided to try the wand with multi-use pads available. I typically use the H-E-B brand general plastic scrub brush, but I was pleasantly surprised by this product. The convenience of filling the wand with soap and creating a lather while scrubbing, combined with the eco-friendly design of interchangeable scrub replacements, makes it my preferred choice. I will definitely continue using it and highly recommend it to others. It just makes more sense financially and practically. I only suggest that the replacement pads include slits to better clean the inner parts of cups and dishes.
