Very sturdy and holds A.LOT.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first thought was how cute they were, but upon taking them out of the package, I realized that they were made of really strong plastic. These things will stand the test of time. Not only that, but my daughter has very thick hair and these were able to hold her hair with no issues at all. I thought the design was cute because it was different but it meant that a lot of hair escaped from the top and bottom when placed vertically like other claw clips. It does work a little better if switched to a horizontal position, but looks odd.
