We use these regularly in our home. The scent took a little bit of time to get used to; learning that thymol is basically the herb thyme when reduced to an essential oil actually helped us get over our initial reluctance re the scent. I do, however, wish the fiber content was fully biodegradable instead of a combination of rayon and POLYESTER. I would much prefer a fully biodegradable fiber content - e.g. 100% rayon, or perhaps rayon and another plant-based fiber; the fact that these are part polyester means microplastics, which I prefer to minimize for both my home and the earth's environment.{{userCount} users found this review helpful.Originally posted on seventhgeneration.com- IrinaSReviewed 4 weeks ago
Disinfects very well
I don’t love the scent but they do clean very well. They are better than Clorox wipes in my opinion in toxicities. Fantastic all natural disinfectant wipes
I love these all natural, 7th Generation disinfectant wipes. The scent is fresh without being overwhelming. The packaging is easy to remove each sheet from and one sheet cleans a lot. Oily and scent too strong
Bought these today at the local grocery store. Wanted to try something considered “more clean” than the normal disinfecting wipes. I used 1 wipe and wiped down a few drawer handles in the kitchen and the fridge handles. The wipe had a slightly oily residue, so I went back with a dry paper towel and dried the areas I had wiped. The smell is the same as the citronella candles we light during the summer outside to keep the mosquitos away. My hands smelled like that, even after washing them 3 times. Not impressed. Terrible long lasting scent
My mom bought two of the lemongrass scent wipes a few weeks ago. The smell is not for everyone! It was a terrible odor that did what it was supposed to do, and even kept smelling strong after washing our hands and the surface area. The product worked but unfortunately we threw them away. helping the environment!
It's my first time buying this product, and i really liked it, but the scent isn't very pleasant - i think it could be better. Maybe there are more scents available and i just dont know yet, since i don't usually buy this brand. Still, i like helping the environment and this brand says it contributes to that, so that's why i chose it. Throw Aways
I agree with those who say it's a nasty smell. I have to rinse and dry surfaces to get rid of the smell and then wash my hands with soap before they're scent free. I thought lemon grass and citrus would smell fresh and clean but there's not a hint of citrus aroma, just overpowering chemical. As expensive as they were I'm going to throw them out because getting rid of the smell is too much added work.
