It is a super moisturizing shampoo it really makes your hair get the hydration it needs. For me personally it made my scalp too oily since I suffer from oily scalp. Tangled mess
Should have believed the reviews. I have color treated hair and was looking for something to moisturize and strengthen so I purchased the Strengthen and Restore shampoo, conditioner, and leave in conditioner. The conditioners had no slip, my hair was so tangled I had to cut two knotted pieces out. Pretty good so

Great for moisture and breakage

Company buyout ruined the line
I used the shampoo for years grew my hair down past my knees love this stuff was a loyal customer.. swore by it! Now you couldn't give me it for free absolutely nothing like it's original predecessor. Since the new company bought it out, they've watered it down changed it and betrayed their loyal fan base... all in the name of prophet!! Beware, this brand is no longer what it used to be!!
