It locks in and traps the dust so that it does not fall on you or the floor or the furniture. Good at collecting dust

Clean lemon scent

Decent duster, not perfect
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used Swiffer Dusters for years, and this performed in the same way the unscented version does: it's great at getting dust off of smooth surfaces, but snags on any rough edges. The lemon scent is nice (not overly perfumed), and I'll probably use these primarily in my basement, as an additional bug/spider deterrent (I have other lemon scented things in my basement for this reason). However, when I put the duster on the cleaning wand to use it, it felt like it left a residue on my hands (probably from the scented oil or other substance). But, there was no visible residue on any items I dusted. I would consider buying these again if the price is the same or less than the unscented version.Reply from swiffer.com3 weeks agoHi Charity! Great dusters

Fresh Strong Smell

Fresh scent
