Hello there! We are sorry to hear your Swiffer WetJet stopped working, even after changing the batteries. Please make sure the batteries are fresh AA alkaline batteries (no rechargeable or carbon zinc), inserted correctly, and that the battery door is fully closed until it clicks. Also, check that the solution bottle is properly clicked into place, not empty, and that the arrow on the bottle label is facing the pole. Sometimes the nozzles can get clogged—gently brushing them might help. If your WetJet is brand new, it may need priming: hold the button on the handle for several seconds while gently squeezing the solution bottle until spray comes out. To help ensure the handle connects securely to the pole, please try twisting the poles together firmly until they lock into place (you may need to push hard), and listen for the click that indicates they have locked. Also, avoid pulling the poles apart once you have started assembling them, as that can break the cords inside the pole and cause the mop not to work properly. Confirm the solution bottle is clicked in, not empty, and positioned correctly (arrow/narrow side against the pole). 4. Install fresh AA alkaline batteries (all new from the same package). Do not mix old and new, and do not use rechargeable or carbon zinc batteries. Check battery direction and make sure the door clicks shut. 5. Gently brush the nozzles in case they are clogged.
