[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Self tanning products are always rocky territory for me. You never know if you'll get a subtle, sunkissed glow or oompa loompa orange! But i was very pleasantly surprised with this lotion. First and foremost, it smells incredible. I'd buy it for the scent alone! But as well, the squalane, beta glucan and hyaluronic acid create a perfect storm for velvety soft, super hydrated, healthy looking skin! The color is buildable, and can grow with each daily use, beginning very subtly. The color is very nice, not at all orange or steaky and i didn't experience any darkened rough areas around my fingers toes, which is a common issue I have with most self tanners. I was nervous at first because Influenster sent me the medium to dark shade (and I’m pale!) but it worked really well! Not sticky!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was pleasantly surprised but this product. The lotion feels like it has a gel base which made me doubtful it wouldn’t just sit on my skin and be sticky and gross but it wasn’t! I applied before bed to make sure it was not disturbed by clothing and daily grind. The lotion melted into my skin and didn’t have a very strong odor either. I am medium to fair skin and this color gave me a very subtle bronze glow. I added a few of the tan drops to enhance the color on the second day but it made me streaky so I didn’t do that moving forward. Somehow although I applied it to my arms, legs, and body the only place that changed color at all was between my fingers. Worked how it was supposed to
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A little goes a long way. I think I was sent the wrong shade, but it worked well over time. I have a fair skin color and I was sent “medium to dark skin tone” so it made me a darker tan than I think it should’ve, but the product did what it was supposed to.
