Quality has gone way down
I’ve been drinking tazo chai for over 20 years. I get it less as I now live remote. I got a 3 pack about a year ago and noticed the flavour was a bit off. I got some more about 2 weeks ago and yuck! Drive Thru at Home
I bought this because my husband said I need to stop spending so much at coffee shops in the morning. Super great dupe for Starbucks or Dunkin chai tea lattes. Too sweet!
A friend gave me a container of this as a gift. As kind as that was, I truly wish she hadn’t. It’s disgustingly sweet, and I cannot taste the tea part. I’m in the habit of making my own chai latte every morning. I use a bold tea bag, I grind the spices and add chopped ginger and a little orange peel. For 2 cups of chai I add 1 teaspoon of honey, and oat milk. ONE teaspoon of honey for two cups of tea. NOT a quarter cup. Okay Product, Very Pepper Strong
Good for a store bought product. Aroma is very pleasant and easy to prepare. Only issue I have is for my taste, the black pepper overwhelms all the other flavor's. If I purchase again I will increase the milk in the milk to concentrate ratio, or maybe add some additional cinnamon and cloves to combat the overwhelming pepper. I understand black pepper is a necessary ingredient for a Chai, to be the third ingredient with only water and black tea ahead of it?Reply from Esethu9 months agoHi Linda!
