I am testing out gels for my upcoming trip to Hawaii. This gel definitely blocks the humidity for up to five days. I like the smell of the gel; it doesn't have an overpowering scent. I didn't like that the gel congealed after my workout classes, leaving a weird, gloopy residue in my hair. So So Wonderful!
I am so so so happy to have found a product that works for my very kinky, could, shrinkage prone hair! I have brought so much from the line but this is my new favorite! The smell is nice, not too fruity which I feel like is everything on the market, and very good at holding my curls in place! What I ordered was DEFINITELY what I got!
I purchased this last week after seeing someone on IG recommend it and their hair looked similar to my texture. Well let me just say it did NOT disappoint. I should back up and say I am a seasoned and “serial” natural hair product purchaser. I keep doing the “what I ordered vs. what I got” thing with my hair and it hasn’t been cute. I found this gel to be super defining, it had amazing shine. The cast on my curls was crazy. I have super “feathery” hair and although I can get good curl definition, it typically is short lived because the gels do not give me adequate hold or they flake. Oh and let me say also, I was concerned with a hold this strong this gel would flake…NO MA’AM! No flakes. I waited a full week until my next wash day to write this so I was sure I was experiencing what I was. I did a wash and go finger coil on my hair and that thing lasted a FULL WEEK. I exercise and SWEAT everyday. I live in a sub-tropical summer heat climate and I did not have a bad hair day. Disappointed
