Cleans clothes well, no residue or fragrance
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Simple and easy to read packaging. Free of irritating residue, no added dyes, or perfume. It says unscented, but I smell something that reminds me of cleaning chemicals. There’s no sand after they’ve been washed, rinsed, and dry. We had no skin irritation and it cleaned our clothes very well. Really want to know who at Tide thought it would be a good idea to add more chemicals to a laundry detergent that's supposed to be for sensitive skin. This "new and improved" formula is making my skin itch and feels like it's burning. I've been using Tide Free and Gentle for years and NEVER had any issues. Why improve something that didn't need to be improved? Now I'm going to have to find a new laundry detergent and hope I don't break out in a rash or hives. The product was upgraded in April 2025 to rebalance ingredients for better stain removal while still being gentle on sensitive skin. It remains hypoallergenic, free of dyes and perfumes, and dermatologist tested to be safe for sensitive skin. Sometimes, changes in formula can affect individuals differently. Bottle leaks everywhere!
I have always loved Tide detergent, but whoever designed this bottle with the spigot directly above the top of the bottle means it drips straight down, runs down the front of the bottle and leaks on whatever is underneath it, no matter how I try to avoid that. I use a public laundry and have to bring a paper towel with me to clean up the mess.
